Woman jumps onto subway tracks, walks to other station in Brooklyn

BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- An emotionally disturbed woman walked the subway tracks between two stations in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The woman first jumped down onto the tracks at the Myrtle Avenue Station, and then walked to the Flushing Avenue station where she climbed back onto the platform.

Police took her into custody at the Flushing Avenue station.

The woman was taken to Woodhull hospital for an evaluation. She appeared to be very disoriented, witnesses said.

This incident happened just before 9:00 a.m.
