Man's dog-themed gift to girlfriend doesn't go as planned

SANTA ANA, California -- A Christmas gift for one man's girlfriend didn't turn out as he planned. In fact, it looks a little "ruff."

Johnny Hanly shared a photo on Reddit of a pillow that he had made with a photo of her dog. He said he wanted to give his girlfriend a dog-shaped pillow, rather than just a photo of her dog on a pillow.

Unfortunately, the gift came out bizarre. The pillow is just an outline of the dog's body.

On the bright side, Hanly said she loved the gift.
