Cute sloth investigates camera
Rodrigo the rescue sloth shied away from the camera at first, but then he warmed up.

Rodrigo is ready for his close-up.

The rescue sloth, who lives at Jaguar Rescue Center in Costa Rica, shied away when someone brought a camera near the basket where he was lounging. Eventually, the center wrote, "curiosity won" and Rodrigo got up close and personal with the camera.

Rodrigo, who is about 1 and a half years old, was discovered near a road when he was just 8 months.

Roridgo is an orphaned sloth at the Jaguar Rescue Center in Costa Rica. He loves to cuddle with his teddy bear while he's sleeping.

The center could not locate his mother, and they have been caring for him ever since, even helping him learn to climb again.

Just over a year after being rescued from the side of a road, this sloth is excelling at climbing trees.
