Dogs rescued after being trapped in storm drain on Long Island

MEDFORD (WABC) -- Two dogs were rescued after they were found trapped in a storm drain on Long Island.

Residents in Medford found the dogs after hearing their yips and barks and called police.

Animal Control arrived with officer, and worked together to pull the pups out.

The dogs are now at the Brookhaven Town Animal Shelter waiting for an owner to realize they are missing.
