Firefighters and police officers from San Luis Obispo, Calif. rescued a group of ducklings trapped in a sewer pipe on Thursday morning. According to local newspaper The Tribune, the firefighters and police officers used a long tool to pick the three trapped ducklings up from the trash well.

"They were pretty hard to get...you had to catch them just right," San Luis Obispo Fire Battalion Chief Neal Berryman told The Tribune.

After reuniting the rescued ducks with their family, they were released into a nearby creek. Check out the adorable rescue above.
