Police arrest 18-year-old accused of attacking stranger on subway in Brooklyn

SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police have arrested the man accused of attacking a stranger on the subway.

Police say 18-year-old Rustem Lamaj stepped on a man's foot while on a Brooklyn-bound "R" train Friday.

When the victim said something, Lamaj allegedly knocked him down and punched him in the face.

Lamaj is being charged with attempted murder and assault.

The attack left the victim in critical condition.
