CHAPPAQUA, New York (WABC) -- A cardboard cutout of Hillary Clinton greeted patrons at Mario's Restaurant in Chappaqua on Thursday night, just ahead of her speech at the Democratic National Convention. Many say they have met the presidential hopeful at parades or in nearby stores. All have nothing but great things to say.

"She needs to talk about ISIS, how she's different from Donald Trump. She needs to talk about being a strong woman. She's scared a lot of men in this country," said supporter Mike Finkelstein.

Much of the talk at Mario's was what she needed to say to the American People to secure their votes.

"She needs to talk to the people like she talks to the people in Chappaqua," says supporter Steven Goldenberg.

Also packed was Quaker Ridge Tavern in Chappaqua. Many people were wondering if Clinton was elected, what it would mean for the sleepy Westchester County Hamlet - especially her youngest supporters.

"I think if every voter listens, they'll vote for her," added Jennifer Naparstek.
