Up Close: Trump's first month
Bill Ritter talks with Rep. Peter King of Long Island.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- It been about a month since Donald Trump became President Trump.

There has been lots of passion and little agreement about this 45th president, from all sides.

But safe to say - just about everyone would agree - it has not been boring. Or without controversy.

Our first guest is Republican New York Congressman Peter King, who joined us from his office in Massapequa Park in Nassau County on Long Island.

Also, New York City schools this week announced a historic high for the graduation rate.

In 2016, the graduation rate reached 72.6%, with the largest improvements for Hispanic and black students.

With us is New York City Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina.
