"Seasonal clearance, that's what you want to be looking for, at least 50% off," said Ben Glaser, DealNews.com.

Major retailers like Gap, Banana Republic, and Forever 21 slashed prices 70%.

Outdoor brand Rei, LL Bean, and Nautica offered deep discounts. Not to be out done, designer brands Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors and Calvin Klein took up to 80% off its luxury prices.

"Perfect time to buy warm weather apparel, anything associated with summer," Glaser said.

It's also the time to act fast on laptops.

"Pick up a laptop for your student, we're not going to see prices this good again until Black Friday," Glaser said.

Take advantage of tech prices, and watch out for Apple, its big Keynote is on September 7th and the iPhone 7 will makes it not so secret debut!

"It's almost certain that means you can expect off the bat $100 off the 6S or 6S Plus, and that's just from Apple stores, then stores like Best Buy, Microcenter, and Walmart are going to discount those even further.

Glaser says wait until mid -September for iPhone price drops, but don't wait if you're eyeing a MacBook.

"We've seen the 13-inch drop to $750 and the 11-inch to $700, that big that's almost $200 off list price," Glaser said.

Those savings won't last. They'll be back up by the end up of September and stay up until Black Friday!

Same goes for these rock bottom flat screens, the 32-inch model. Already advertised under $200 expect more from Labor Day sales.

"I think they may drop even further like closer to $100," Glaser said.

Low prices will abound on appliances. Lowes, Sears, Walmart and Best Buy are getting rid of bulky older models for new ones.

"Very impressive up to half off, we see clearance items here, open box; this is a great time to buy, especially if you need it!" Glaser said.

Even if it's not broke, but you need a new one, get your new grill or patio set on.

Mark your calendar for National Coffee Day, it's September 29th!

Last year, Starbucks didn't give freebies, but said it donated to charity instead.

But you could get your Joe for free from Dunkin' Donuts, Krispy Kreme, and a number of other outlets, no purchase necessary.

So ask your favorite coffee shop if they're participating!
