While June is a busy shopping month with people celebrating the dads and grads in their lives--don't expect deals on traditional Father's Day gifts says Mark LoCastro of Dealnews.com:

"If you're shopping for Father's Day at a traditional men's store the deals aren't going to be as good because demand is high for things like shirts and ties."

You'll pay top dollar for grills and tool sets too, marked up for for Dad's Day which is June 15th! The advice from LoCastro is look for coupons if you want to stick with a typical gift.

"Make sure the store or site has some type of deal or discount or some type of promotion going on."

Better yet think outside-the-box for the Daddy in your life.

Lingerie is priced low this month - Victoria's Secret unveils it semi-annual Sale in June and competitors jump to offer deals, there's also deep discounts this month to send Dad away for a little well-deserved R and R!

"If your dad likes to travel get him a cruise we are seeing all time lows if you like the Caribbean and cruises too perfect match right there!"

June is the beginning of Hurricane Season -it's less likely to see tropical storms than later months but the chance for stormy weather brings vacation prices down now.

Also battling it out in June, Gaming systems, GREAT for Dad or Grad which LoCastro says makes now a perfect time to buy them.

"Microsoft finally dropped the price of the Xbox 1 to $399 which is the same price at the PS 4. We saw the first deal on the PS 4 for $360."

Speaking of tech, TOUCHSCREEN LAPTOPS are trending to be the new budget machines.

"This Asus is coming in at $199, the cheapest we have ever seen," says LoCastro.

"Again these are your budget systems but perfect for back to school exactly."

Now's the time to buy Microsoft Surface Rt's too, discounted previous generations are on sale but Apple fanatics should hold off in June.

The world wide developers conference for Apple is in the first week in June, they're introducing a new iMAC, so if you're planning on buying any of those wait a little bit!
