11-year-old girl delivers gift bags to police officers

WHEELING, Ill. -- An 11-year-old girl is showing her appreciation for suburban police officers with a sweet treat.

Maya Teran delivered 50 gift bags to the Wheeling Police Department on Wednesday to thank them for their service.

Inside the bags were Lifesavers candy to remind them "of the many times they've been one" and Kit Kat bars for "those times you need to take a break" and gum "to help the department and community stick together through tough times."
