6-year-old boy delivers sweet 'survival kits' for police officers

A 6-year-old boy left sweet care packages for his local police officers in Holliston, Mass, on Tuesday.

Holliston Police shared on their Facebook page a photo of Jackson Bisazza and the "Survival Kit for Law Enforcement Officers" he dropped off. Jackson dropped off 30 kits that were distributed throughout the department. The kits contained candy with a note describing the significance of each treat. The note reads:

LIFESAVER to remind you of the many times you've been one

STARBURST for the burst of energy that you need

PAYDAY since you're not doing it for the money

HERSHEY KISSES to show our love for you

GUM to help everyone stick together

TOOTSIE ROLL you have to roll with the punches

PEPPERMENT PATTY helping you keep your cool

SNICKERS to help keep your humor

MOUNDS for the mounds of courage you show

An 11-year-old girl in Wheeling, Ill., also delivered sweet treats to her local police department on Wednesday.

Holliston police thanked the boy by saying, "Jackson, in a world that is fast-paced and often chaotic, we thank you for bringing a slice of generosity, innocence, and happiness to our Officers."
