Ponytail over airline seat goes viral
Josh Einiger has the tale of a ponytail over an airline seat that has the Internet buzzing.

BOSTON (WABC) -- In the latest case of plane passengers behaving badly, a hair-raising photo has gone viral.

It shows a woman's ponytail creeping into another passenger's space, and it has the internet buzzing.

Boston Globe columnist Dante Ramos tweeted the picture on Monday night with the caption, "Congrats to the ponytailed woman in seat 22B. You've invented a whole new way to be awful at 35,000 feet."

The post prompted more than 8,500 likes, 9,000 retweets and suggestions about how Ramos should handle the situation.

He says he asked the woman to move her ponytail.

"The ponytail flopped out of our sight and presumable back into hers," he said. "Complaining about air travel is a staple of Twitter...The novelty of it seem liked it was something worth sharing."

Ramos said the passenger appeared to be playing a game on her phone and didn't realize there was a problem until his partner got up and brought it to her attention.
