FRESNO, Calif. -- This last spring, a popular California landmark served as the backdrop for one Bay Area couple's wedding day.

Endijs and Elina are hiking enthusiasts and decided to tie the knot at the top of Yosemite National Park's Half Dome. The couple kept the special occasion totally intimate, inviting only their photographer and officiant to be a part of the ceremony.

Brian Reub, their photographer, says he was nervous, especially because he is terrified of heights, but did not want to turn down the opportunity.

They used vacuum bags to shrink everything into a backpack, including the groom's suit, the bride's gown and her bouquet, and also packed champagne to celebrate.

They did the hike and ceremony all in the same day, starting at 5:30 a.m. and ending at 7:30 p.m.
