NEW YORK (WABC) -- A member of the Eyewitness News team was honored at the annual Hispanic Heritage Month breakfast in Newark.

Anchor and reporter Joe Torres was among several honorees at the event, recognized for their distinguished work for the Hispanic community.

Torres hosts "Tiempo," a program that focuses on issues impacting Latinos.
