Joe Torres has more on how Floyd Mayweather, Jr. paid his respects to slain NYPD officer Miosotis Familia.

FORDHAM, Bronx (WABC) -- Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. took time to pay his respects to a slain NYPD officer in the Bronx.

Mayweather passed by the 46th Precinct station on Saturday to remember Detective Miosotis Familia.

The undefeated boxing champ is in the middle of a promotional tour ahead of his August fight in Las Vegas with UFC star Conor McGregor.

Familia was shot execution-style earlier this month while inside a mobile police command vehicle.

She was posthumously promoted to detective.
