A St. Louis Rams cheerleader had a big reason to celebrate on Saturday when her soldier husband stationed overseas surprised her during the team's preseason game.

In addition to being a Rams cheerleader, Candace Valentine is also a first lieutenant in the U.S. Marines. The team took time to honor Candace for her service in a "Soldier Salute" video that included a special message from her husband August Valentine, who is also a Marine and is currently stationed in South Korea.

"I would never want to miss your first game - so surprise!" August said in the video. Then August appeared on-field, reporting for romantic duty, as Candace rushed to embrace him.

Candace has a lot more on her plate aside from aside from her cheerleading and military responsibilities: she's also an associate at a law office and is currently finishing her Ph.D. in public policy, according to People.
