Have trouble getting out of bed in the morning? This bed gives you no choice about it. When the alarm goes off, it launches you into the air.

The bed was invented by YouTube personality Colin Furze, a plumber in England. He says it took him about two weeks to put it together. He says it took him about two weeks to put together. He also says says on his website that "proper engineers would laugh" at his inventions.

"It's strange really because I'm only a plumber," he told ABC. "I'm just kind of making it up as I go along."

Despite his alleged lack of expertise, Furze says the bed is very powerful and can throw a person across a room.

"It has the ability to kill you," he joked.

The video was created as a promotion for Taylors of Harrogate, a tea and coffee company in the United Kingdom, to advertise their "High Voltage" coffee. Furze has a rule that he doesn't do any sponsored videos unless it's something he would have done anyway.

"A bed that throws you out in the morning was highly requested," he said of his viewer comments.

He also says he made the invention for fun, but that hasn't stopped people from asking him where they can buy one for their home. Furze says the furthest he'd go in that process before turning it over would be the prototype, but he's not sure it'll happen.

"It's probably not quite right for the mass market," he said.

So for now your best bet to recreate the effect is probably to follow along with his "making of" video. Or, you know, try a louder alarm clock.
