2 dead, 1 injured after truck overturns in Colts Neck, New Jersey

COLTS NECK, N.J. (WABC) -- Two men are dead and another injured after their truck overturned Wednesday morning on Route 18 in New Jersey.

Police say the three men were traveling northbound on Route 18 inside a commercial line-striping truck, owned and operated by Straight Edge Striping, of Bound Brook, that overturned into the median between the interchanges for Route 34 and Route 537 in Colts Neck Township. The three men were ejected from the vehicle.

Two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene: Apolinar Guerrero, 39, of Piscataway, and Juan Sanchez, 51, of Bound Brook.

The driver of the vehicle is identified as Nicolas Denis, 23, of Elizabeth. He is currently listed as stable at a local hospital.

The roadway was re-opened at 3:30 p.m.
