2 hurt when tractor-trailer hits LIRR bridge in Center Moriches

CENTER MORICHES (WABC) -- Two people are hurt after a tractor-trailer hit a Long Island Rail Road bridge in Suffolk County.

The truck flipped after hitting the top of the bridge near Wilcox Road in Center Moriches.

The LIRR shut down the Montauk Branch while inspectors made sure the tracks were not damaged in the crash.

Trains were up and running Monday morning.

The two people in the truck are being treated for non life-threatening injuries at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital.
