EAST HILLS (WABC) -- Police are investigating a school bus crash on Long Island Thursday morning that injured five people, including two children.

An SUV and minibus collided at Glen Cove Road and The Pines in East Hills about 9:30 a.m.

Authorities say two adults and two children on the bus were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The SUV driver suffered a serious leg injury and was rushed to Manhasset Hospital. He is expected to survive.

Authorities have not released the age of the students or which school district the bus belongs to.
