7 train subway line service resumes after earlier signal problems

NEW YORK (WABC) -- 7 train line service is back up and running after an earlier suspension due to a signal problem.

The MTA announced the shutdown at 6:15 p.m. Thursday. Service resumed just before 7:30 p.m.

There were significant backups at Grand Central, as you can see from the image above.

As of 8:30 p.m. the MTA reported that service was running "good".
