Car crashes into tree in Shirley, 1 dead

SHIRLEY, Suffolk County (WABC) -- Police in Suffolk County are investigating what led to a deadly crash.
The mangled vehicle was left on its side after slamming into a tree.
It happened at 2:15 a.m. Monday on the William Floyd Parkway near Mastic Boulevard in Shirley.
The intersection was closed for the investigation.
