Out-of-control car crashes into Long Island home
Kristin Thorne reports live from Woodbury.

WOODBURY (WABC) -- A car went out of control Monday morning and slammed into a home on Long Island.

No one was inside the home in Nassau County when the crash occurred, and the driver and his passenger were not seriously hurt.

It happened at about 10 a.m. on Woodbury Road in Woodbury. The car went through a bedroom and into a bathroom.

The driver said he either hit a car or swerved into a car and lost control. "Just tried to get it to stop and it wouldn't, and wound up in the garage," said the driver, Arthur Goldberg.

The homeowner was at church at the time.

A passenger in the car, Karyn Goldberg, said he yelled at her husband to stop. "We couldn't stop the car, I have no idea," she said. "We hit a car further up, and the car just wouldn't stop."
