George Washington Bridge overnight lane closures start Monday night

FORT LEE, N.J. (WABC) -- There are some lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.

The lower level eastbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. all week and from 11 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Workers will be removing temporary platforms that were used during construction on the upper level.

Similar closures will be happening through mid-October.
