Lambros Perrikos takes the train from Hicksville to Penn, but this is his last week commuting on the LIRR. He starts a new job on L.I. next week, calling it "perfect timing."
Dana Palmieri, 21, takes the train daily from Hicksville to Penn Station to get to her job at Viacom. She plans to drive to the subway in Bayside or stay with friends in the city.
Danielle Bensignor, 21, takes the train from Hicksville to Penn Station daily to get to work, the she takes the 2 or 3 downtown. She plans to stay over with friends in the city.
Barbara Pawlenko takes the train from Hicksville to Penn. She then takes the 2 or 3 train to her insurance job. She would most likely drive, ideally carpooling in a strike.
Jim Serpico works in TV production in SoHo and takes the train from Hicksville to Penn. He said he may stay in a hotel, or try to get into Queens then figure it out from there.
