4 critical after car hits home in Port Jervis
4 people are in critical condition after a car hits a home in Port Jervis.

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. (WABC) -- A car slammed into a house in Port Jervis Monday, sending four people to the hospital.

The accident happened at 8 New Street.

No one in the house was injured, but the structure was heavily damaged, police say.

All four people in the car -- a 31-year-old man, a 37-year-old woman and two children, ages 13 and 7 -- were hospitalized.

All four victims sustained serious injuries in the collision, and they are presently being treated Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where they are listed in critical condition.
