STATEN ISLAND (WABC) -- The commute is back on track Friday morning following a Staten Island Rapid Transit train derailment at the St. George Terminal.

A four-car train was entering the station Thursday afternoon when the last car went off the rails.

None of the 175 passengers on board the train was injured.

Crews worked into the early-morning hours to make repairs.

There was limited local service out of St. George Terminal when service restarted around 5 p.m., with trains running about every 20 minutes through the evening peak period. After 7 p.m., service was suspended between St. George and Tompkinsville to allow crews to re-rail the train.

Shuttle buses were provided.
