NEW YORK (WABC) -- Eyewitness News has obtained video of a smokey mess underground that choked riders on the No. 7 train.
Trains are once again running normally, but that wasn't the case overnight Tuesday.
Passengers aboard one subway car were forced to cover up their faces against the smoke that filled train while they sat waiting near Grand Central Station.
A fire broke out around 11 p.m., and the situation shut down service in and out of Manhattan.
Service was fully restored around 4:30 a.m.
