Get a look at key locations in running history with this Central Park running tour from the New York Road Runners.

NEW YORK -- New York City's packed with history - including moments in running history. Learn your city's history and learn to love your run even more!

The NYRR NYC Running History Tour is by registration only, and starts at the NYRR RUNCENTER, with coaches guiding you at a comfortable (10:00 min/mile) pace past various landmarks significant to New York City's running history, including the "Imagine" mosaic, Fred Lebow statue, and the iconic TCS NYC Marathon finish line. There are stops for photos, and to appreciate the moment while reliving the past as you make your way through Central Park and the streets of NYC.

Whether you are visiting from out of town or just want to learn some fun facts about the city you live in, don't miss this free event!

Please note: The tour is not a training run; frequent stops will be made along the way. Runners may use the changing rooms at the NYRR RUNCENTER to secure their bags in one of the day lockers for the tour.
