National Weather Service: EF1 tornado touched down in Dutchess County Wednesday

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York (WABC) -- The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down at 7:14 p.m. in the Town of Wappinger in Dutchess County.

Wild videos captured the powerful storms moving through the Tri-State Area overnight into Thursday.

A funnel cloud passed over a mall in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County.
