Woman in wheelchair slashed in the Bronx

MOTT HAVEN, Bronx (WABC) -- Police in The Bronx are searching for the person who attacked a woman in a wheelchair.

It happened Tuesday night outside of a building on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven.

Police say a man walked up the woman and slashed her across the face.

He ran away and she was taken to the hospital.
