2 hurt in ceiling collapse at school under renovation on Upper West Side

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A worker was injured Monday morning when a piece of ceiling fell on him inside a school under renovation on the Upper West Side.

The worker was hurt inside a previously closed prep school on West End Avenue.

The worker is being taken to the hospital with a non life-threatening injury.

A second person is being treated for a minor injury.

The cause of the ceiling collapse, in the basement, is under investigation.
