Arrest made in stabbing in St. James Park in Fordham section of Bronx

FORDHAM, Bronx (WABC) -- Police have made an arrest in a triple stabbing in the Bronx.

Isavel Hernandez, 29, of the Bronx, was charged with four counts of first-degree gang assault.

Late Wednesday night, police responded to a fight inside St. James Park at Morris Avenue and East 191st Street in the Fordham section.

They found Henry Leal, 21, of the Bronx, with multiple stab wounds to the torso. Leal later died. Two other victims, a 15-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, also had multiple stab wounds to the torso.

Leal and the 19-year-old were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where Leal was pronounced dead. The 19-year-old was stable. The other victim was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and also was stable.

The investigation is ongoing.
