Multiple cell phones taken from Bronx store; worker taped to chair, police say

NORWOOD, Bronx (WABC) -- Police are looking for suspects in the robbery of a Bronx phone store.

Just before 9 a.m. on Nov. 19, a man who works at the AT&T store at 315 E. 204th St. was opening for the day when two men approached him with a gun.

The suspects forced the employee to disable the alarm system and taped him to a chair in a back room using duct tape, police said.

According to the New York City Police Department, the suspects took 38 Apple iPhones and the employee's cellphone. The employee was not injured.

They fled in a burgundy Jeep SUV, driven by a third suspect and headed south on Hull Avenue.
