NYPD counter-terrorism bulletin alerts officers to remain vigilant; no known threat

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The NYPD released a counter-terrorism bulletin Tuesday night, alerting officers to remain vigilant during the holidays.

The bulletin is routine and there is no known threat targeting the city.

The bulletin instructs officers, especially ones posted in crowded areas or near symbolic targets, to be vigilant at all times.

Similar instructions were given to FBI offices last week.
