Police looking for 2 men in brutal assault, robbery in Morris Heights

MORRIS HEIGHTS, Bronx (WABC) -- Police are looking for two suspects in a brutal attack in the Bronx.

One of three men is accused of punching a 61-year old man who was standing on West Tremont Avenue in Morris Heights. The incident happened March 8 around 9:30 a.m.

The victim was knocked to the ground. According to the New York City Police Department, the men continued to beat him, then took $17 and left.

One suspect has since been taken into custody. Two are still at large.

The victim was knocked unconscious then later treated at the hospital.
