NEW YORK (WABC) -- This week on Up Close, a conversation with U.S. Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey.
The former mayor of Newark, Booker was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2013 in a special election to succeed the late Frank Lautenberg.
He is the first African-American U.S. Senator from New Jersey.
He went to Stanford, a Rhodes Scholarship, and then received a law degree from Yale.
So after two years, what kind of education is he getting in Washington?
Sen. Booker joins us and addresses speculation that he is under consideration as one of Hillary Clinton's potential running mates.
