2 Flushing Meadow Park groping incidents lead to arrest

Police have arrested a man accused in two incidents of groping women at a Queens park this week.

FLUSHING MEADOW PARK, Queens (WABC) -- Police have arrested a man accused in two incidents of groping women at a Queens park this week.

Andres Marrero Fisher, 25, of Queens, faces two forcible touching charges.

Around 8 a.m. Tuesday, a 46-year-old woman was jogging in Flushing Meadow Park near Jewel Avenue and the Grand Central Parkway when someone grabbed her buttocks.

In another incident, just before 7 a.m. Thursday, someone grabbed a 33-year-old woman's buttocks as she was jogging inside the park near Meadow Lake Road East by 69 Road.

Fisher's arrest was announced Friday.
