MORRIS PARK, Bronx (WABC) -- Power has been restored for customers in the Bronx after a series of weather-related outages on Saturday.

Con Edison says the outages were caused by the weather. The rain that passed through around noon knocked down branches and power lines in the Pelham Gardens section, and a feeder cable burned out.

A total of 1,175 people were without power. As of 8 p.m., the lights were back on.
