How much snowfall will we get?
Jeff Smith has the details.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Do you love snow? Prepare yourself for higher than normal amounts this winter, and more frequent snowstorms.

In a typical winter, Central Park receives just over 25 inches of snow.

Last winter was snowier than average, with a little over 32 inches. Much of that snow occurred in one single blizzard in late January. This winter may end up with just as much snow in the end, but how we get there will be different.

Instead of a huge dump of snow in one or two storms, we should expect more frequent snowfalls.

There's some evidence to support that these storms may linger into early spring for parts of the region.
