The holiday season comes to life in Central Park

The holiday season has come to life in New York City's Central Park.

The 20th annual Central Park Holiday Lighting was held on December 1 at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center.

The event was organized by the Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy. Community members and friends of the Central Park Conservancy.

Before trees were lit up on the Harlem Meer, people enjoyed a live ice carving demonstration, listened to carolers and even had the chance to meet Santa.

The trees will continue to light up the Harlem Meer throughout the holiday season.
