SUFFOLK COUNTY, Long Island (WABC) -- Two suspects have been arrested in a string a 7-Eleven robberies dating back to last year.

Tyquan Dudley and Terrence Hunt are charged with taking part in some of the six armed robberies of convenience stores in Suffolk County between December 2016 and April 2017. Based on the narrative from the criminal complaint, one suspect is still being sought.

During questioning, police say Hunt admitted to participating in all six holdups and identified himself in surveillance images. Dudley apparently admitted to participating in Thursday morning's robberies, including holding the door while Hunt and the third individual brandished firearms and stole cash and property.

The most recent incidents happened in Islandia and Islip, and Dudley and Hunt were captured following a brief chase that ended in a minor crash in Central Islip around 2 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
