2 men posing as cops rob man in Queens
Police say two men posing as officers robbed a man in Queens.

ELMHURST, Queens (WABC) -- The NYPD is searching for two men who posed as police officers in a robbery in Queens.

Police say the two men in a gray car approached a 60-year-old man saying they were officers..

It happened near Ithaca and Britton Avenues in Elmhurst on Sept. 19.

The driver was wearing an ID holder around his neck.

While the passenger acted as a lookout the driver forced the victim to raise his arms.

That's when he frisked him and took about $100 from his pocket, and the suspects took off.

The victim was not hurt.

The NYPD issued these descriptions:

Individual #1 is described as a male Hispanic, light complexion, approximately 6'0" tall and 250 lbs., last seen wearing a green long sleeve shirt, black sweat pants, and white sneakers.

Individual #2 is described as a male, Hispanic, dark complexion, last seen wearing a light colored shirt.
