MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Two teenagers were stabbed in Manhattan over what police sources are saying was a fight over a girl.

The incident happened at about 3 p.m. at the corner of 56th Street and Ninth Avenue. Police said a teen with a knife stabbed the two other teens, and then took off.

The teen victims, who were stabbed in the back and in the stomach, walked more than a block away to a porch on 55th Street.

The two, who are both 17 years old, were rushed to the hospital. We're told their injuries are not life threatening.

Detectives set up two different crime scenes and blocked off both areas while they investigated the crime.

There's no word yet on any arrests.
