NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for attempted rape in the Bronx.

According to the NYPD, the man followed a 26-year-old woman to a park on Moshulu Parkway and Southern Boulevard last month.

Once inside the park, the suspect exposed himself to the victim and offered to give her cash if she would gratify him, police said.

When the woman declined, the man tried to undress her, causing her to fall to the ground.

After she got up, she continued to walk out of the park.

The suspect again engaged her in conversation and then put his hands down the victim's shirt before fleeing the park.

Police describe the suspect as as a male Hispanic, 26 to 28 years old, 5'9" to 5'11", slim build, with a beard; last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
