UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan -- Two young brothers from the Upper East Side are back on the good side of the NYPD after apologizing for prank calling 911.

The 19th Precinct tweeted the letter it received from 6-year-old Braden after he and his brother called 911 and said: "I'm the robber."

In the note, Braden promises not to do it again, and not to lie.

Police responded by telling Braden he's forgiven for turning himself in for a crime he didn't commit and reminded him and his younger brother to limit 911 calls to emergencies.
