The family of a former model has filed a lawsuit over the collapse in November

SOHO, Manhattan (WABC) -- A multi-million lawsuit has now been filed in connection with a scaffold collapse in Soho last November.

The family of Katy Beal LeFavre is filing a $50 million suit.

They're suing the owners and management companies of 568 Broadway, the scaffolding company "Rock Group" and the company doing renovations, Sato Construction Company.

The 33- year-old former model suffered serious injuries when scaffolding came crashing down on November 19.

LeFavre was buried under the debris after the collapse.

Her husband says she's been in the hospital ever since.

The lawsuit claims the scaffolding wasn't properly secured despite being warned about high winds.
