Suspects wanted in armed robbery of bodega in Parkchester section of the Bronx

Bodega worker rubbed at gunpoint
Police are looking for suspects in an armed robbery of a Bronx bodega.

PARCHESTER, Bronx (WABC) -- Police in the Bronx are searching for two armed suspects who were caught on camera robbing a bodega at gunpoint

Police say the two entered the store on East 174th Street in the Parkchester section shortly after midnight Monday.

The men are seen approaching a 26-year-old worker and covering his mouth.

They displayed a firearm and demanded money.

The employee complied and the suspects fled on foot with approximately $1000 and two cell phones.

The store employee was not injured.

The NYPD issued the following descriptions of the suspects:

Individual #1 is described as a male black, 6'4" and 190lbs, in his twenties last seen wearing black jacket and blue jeans.

Individual #2 is described as a male black, 6'2" and 140lbs, in his twenties, last seen wearing black jacket and blue jeans.
