Livery driver arrested after pedestrian struck in Bronx
It happened in the Melrose section Thursday morning.

MELROSE, Bronx (WABC) -- A livery driver is under arrest after a crash in the Bronx left a pedestrian fighting for his life.

The 39-year-old victim was hit while crossing East 149th Street and River Avenue in Melrose just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

The driver is accused of not having a valid license.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
